"No PLaceholders in report" error

Sometimes you may have created your report and inserted correctly formatted placeholders, but when you upload the pdf, you get the error message "No Placeholders in report" ... so the program is not seeing your placeholders even though when you look at your master pdf, you can see them and they are formatted correctly.
FIRST, make sure that you do not have any very large images in your pdf. Large images will mess up the process. So if your pdf is larger than 1 MB you may have this problem. To check, simply delete your images from a copy of your master, generate a new test pdf without the images, upload that and see if it solves the problem. If it solves the problem, then try to find the problem image or images and make them smaller. It may take a little bit of time and testing on your part, but it is worth the effort.
SECOND, if it is not an image problem, you may be having an issue with Adobe 9.x and MS Word. To solve this, try using the SAVE AS PDF function in MS Word as this reportedly solves the problem at least for some people.
